Information
Shani Mandir Shirpur (शनी मंदिर) is situated in river bank of Arunavati River. It is the natural place where at least 25 temples of different God’s. But the main temple is of God Shani (शनीदेव).

Before 10 years, there was lot of greenary around shani mandir. It was Natural Park, because no one serve towards the greenary. Later on it goes to the hand of Shani Mandir Trust.
Childrens used to play Hide and Seek, Satoliya, Kancha (marball balls or Goli), Kho Kho, Gilli Danda and other outdoor games here. I and my brother used to go there daily to play such games when we were children.
2006 Flood – Arunavati River (अरुणावती नदी)
In year 2006, there was flood in Arunavati River. The affect the city as well as Shani Mandir. The natural park was gone in that flood. All trees were down and the park was just vanishing. Today there are only few trees and sand and soil remains there.
Flood affects the farms too which are located near around bank. Bhaji Market area was totally under flood water. Lot of people loss their shops. But later on all recovered within a year.
Location
Shani Mandir located in river bank of Arunavati River (अरुणावती नदी). The location is coming under Kharde (खर्दे) area which is a small village under Shirpur Tehsil.
How to reach
You can reach to Shani Mandir by walking or by auto rickshaw. Distance is 1.5 KM approximately from Shirpur Bus Stand.

2. Auto rickshaw – 15 Mins (Via Panch Kandil)
3. Walking – 40 Mins (Via Ramsing Nagar bypass)
4. Auto rickshaw – 20 Mins (Via Ramsing Nagar bypass)
