Khanderao Mandir Shirpur (खंडेराव मंदिर) is the main attraction of other people towards Shirpur. It is temple of God Khanderao (Jejuricha Khandoba – जेजुरीचा खंडोबा).
The temple is located adjacent to river bank. Every year, lot of people visits this place.
Jatra – Khanderao Mandir Shirpur (शिरपूर ची जत्रा)
The main attraction towards this temple is its Jatra. Jatra of God Khandoba is held in the month of February every year. Thousands of people from small villages and nearby town’s are coming for this Jatra. Also, people enjoy the food, shopping, amusement parks in Jatra.
Jatra is held in Shirpur for 15 days immediately after winter. Children used to go there in order to see the Amusement Park during its construction too, before 10 days of when the people start to build it up. Children enjoy this by playing around them. Also, people of Shirpur generate lots of revenue from Jatra every year.
